Thanksgiving Food Pantry Drive

It’s time to start thinking about the holidays and the Haygood Food Pantry is gearing up to provide Thanksgiving meals for needy families in our community.

Last year, we provided 125+ Thanksgiving dinner packages for families whose names were provided to us by local schools or other agencies.

Below is a list of items we provide in each dinner package. Please consider providing any of the following:

Consider Donating!

  • Box of mashed potato flakes

  • Jar of turkey gravy/package of mix

  • Cans of veggies: corn, peas, or green beans

  • Cans of yams or sweet potatoes

  • Corn muffin or biscuit mix

  • Box of turkey stuffing mix

  • Can of cranberry sauce

  • Box of pie crust mix

  • Can of pie filling (any flavor)

  • Turkey/$25 gift card to any grocery store
