On January 16, 2023, Martin Luther King Day, Join Haygood and Virginia Wesleyan University for a Peace Journey in our community. Our Peace Walk has become a Peace Journey due to some unforeseen issues with getting a permit and insurance and.....we are trusting in the Holy Spirit's presence!  The big changes:
1.  We will walk, but less than a half mile around the VWU community praying for it.
2.  Then we will drive (carpooling) to 6 more community sites on Wesleyan Drive/Haygood Road.  We will stop at schools, a senior community, sites of recent violence, and the church.
3.  At each site we will get out of the car and pray together, outdoors, for our community.

Meet at Virginia Wesleyan University at the Batten Center Ticketing Lobby.  When you enter the university, stop at the gate, and you will go left, then to a roundabout and parking will be on your right.
